If you're planning to visit Cook Street in Melbourne, there are a few ways to get there depending on your preferred mode of transportation.
By public transport:
- Take the train to Preston Station, and then take bus route 552 towards Northland Shopping Centre. Get off at Stop 49 (Plenty Rd/Cook St) and walk east along Cook St for about 5 minutes until you reach your destination.
By car:
- Head north on Plenty Rd and turn left onto Murray Rd. Turn right onto Cramer St and then left onto Woolton Ave. Turn right onto Cook St and continue for about 500m until you reach your destination.
Note: There is limited street parking available in this area, so it may be easier to park at a nearby shopping centre (such as Northland Shopping Centre) and walk or take public transport from there.
By bicycle:
- Follow the Darebin Creek Trail to Murray Rd, then turn left onto Cramer St and left again onto Woolton Ave. Turn right onto Cook St and continue for about 500m until you reach your destination.
Note: There are bike racks available near the shops/restaurants on Cook Street where you can safely lock up your bike.
Once you arrive on Cook Street, look out for the chicken shop, chicken restaurant, or Korean restaurant - Lui.boss Preston should be easy to spot! Enjoy your meal!
