Volunteer Wellbeing Coordinator – Altona RSL
Make a meaningful difference in the lives of our veterans and their families.
The Altona RSL is seeking a dedicated and organized volunteer to step into the essential role of Wellbeing Coordinator. If you have the heart to support our community and the skills to lead a passionate team, we want to hear from you.
About the Role
As the Wellbeing Coordinator, you will be the heart of our support network. You will lead, coordinate, and inspire our team of wellbeing volunteers to ensure our veterans and their families receive the care they deserve.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Guiding the Team: Leading and coordinating our group of dedicated wellbeing volunteers.
Connecting & Supporting: Assisting those in need by helping them navigate and find the best responses, resources, and support agencies.
Reporting & Tracking: Compiling monthly wellbeing volunteer hours and producing a brief wellbeing report for our monthly committee meetings.
What We Are Looking For
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
A compassionate, empathetic approach to helping others.
Reliability and the capacity to commit to the role consistently.
A willingness to complete the required online Level 1 Wellbeing training (provided by the RSL).
Why Volunteer with Us?
This is a profoundly rewarding opportunity to give back to those who served. By leading our wellbeing team, you will directly contribute to the health, happiness, and connection of the Altona veteran community.
How to Apply / Express Interest

We stand together for a moment to remember those who served and those who have gone before us. It’s a small pause in our day, but an important part of who we are as an RSL.
The next time you’re here at 6pm, we invite you to stand with us.
Lest we forget.
