Last week I posted Little Mylkbar for sale. I realised afterwards this may have come as a shock to many people. Where I would normally give you an explanation from the heart, I just posted the ad. I just needed to get it out there, it took some time to finally list it for sale. I have decided to sell Little Mylkbar, it has been the centre of my life for the last 6 years, and now I am a mum I know I don’t have the capacity to give LMB everything it deserves. Hopefully it can give someone else the flexibility to be their own boss whilst running a business close to their values.
I am not gone yet from this page, but I wanted to make a post to acknowledge this transition and to thank everyone who has been a part of Little Mylkbar whilst it was in my hands. From my family and friends who have supported me along the way, to my regular customers on the Maribrynong River and Melbourne Uni, to the events that have welcomed us with open arms, and to the staff that have also been along for the ride as I lived out my dream of owning and running a vegan food business - thank you ❤️

Little MylkBar is now closed for the time being. Yes it’s a lot earlier than usual for Melbourne University. However this year is a lot different as I have a newborn, and as campus quietens down I need to close shop as it’s a little much for me to manage all at the moment. So I am sorry for the inconvenience but appreciate your understanding. I am waiting for campus approval, but should be back in 2026.

To our dear valued customers,
An update on our trade is follows.
Our last day of trade for 2025 is this Thursday. Due to having to move the van for an event on campus, and some personal reasons we will not be able to return the van to trade again for 2025.
We appreciate you and your patronage and are sorry for any inconvenience that this sudden closure and lack of LMB will cause to your days or weeks. Thank you for you for being a customer and Little MylkBar should be back in 2026.

Good Morning, it’s Malia here, you’ll have noticed that our posts have been less frequent or a little non existent. I’ve been busy becoming a mum ❤️ On Saturday the 6th of September I gave birth to a spring baby girl, her name is Kieva Daphne Raine Thomas. We are both well, at home in our newborn bubble. I wanted to thank my team for taking care of Little MylkBar whilst I can be at home and focus on being a little mylkbar myself and adjust to the changes of this new life.
