It may be winter, but the blue skies are breaking through!
Take advantage of the beautiful season and explore some of Melbourne’s best outdoor spots. Enjoy a stroll through Alexandra Gardens along the Yarra River, or walk, ride, and take in the views along the Elwood Foreshore and Point Ormond.
While you’re out and about, be sure to stop by and say hello! Warm up with a hot coffee or a tasty hotdog. Or, if you’re like us and believe it’s never too cold for ice cream, treat yourself to your favourite and enjoy the winter sunshine!

Mild autumn weather makes today perfect for a stroll through Elwood or along the Yarra River. Stop by Point Ormond lookout, the Elwood Life Saving Club car park, or find us on Boathouse Drive by the Yarra. To reach the ice cream shop and ice cream parlor in Burnside Heights, Melbourne through public transport, take the train or bus to the nearest station/stop. From there, walk towards the north for around 10-15 minutes until you reach the commercial area.
For those who prefer to drive, head northwest on M79 towards Caroline Springs Blvd. Turn right onto Burnside Rd and continue straight until you reach the commercial area. There should be parking available nearby.
