Get behind the shed renovation before the end of financial year.

Your donation will help fund the remaining materials, equipment and costs needed to bring Transit’s new storage facility to life. From racking and cold storage infrastructure to electrical works, compliance requirements and fit-out expenses, every dollar will help us increase our capacity to rescue and distribute food across South East Melbourne.

Can you help?

Our incredible community has already donated timber, concrete, crushed rock, reinforcing mesh, roofing materials, split systems, bathroom fittings, tiles and more for our new food storage facility - with work starting in less than 4 weeks!

An important item is still outstanding:

- Semi-commercial electric roller door (Woodland Grey)
- Opening size: 2.8m high x 3.0m wide

Our current door takes two people to lift and a step ladder to get it high enough for our freezer van to fit through.

If you manufacture, supply, install, or know someone who does, we'd love to hear from you. If you're in a position to order one for us - that would be amazing too! Contact Michelle on 0425 852 056.

Thank you to everyone who has helped bring this project to life. Every donation is helping us create a space that will strengthen food relief across South East Melbourne for years to come!

❄️ No hot flushes around here! ❄️

A HUGE thank you to Couper Air, Reece plumbing/Actrol for helping make our new volunteer space a whole lot more comfortable.

With two donated split systems and free installation, our volunteers will be able to sort food and pack crates ready for each service day without battling the extremes of a tin shed.

What started as an empty, run-down shed is fast becoming a professional, robust and long lasting asset to food relief in the SE suburbs of Melbourne!

Works start in 4 weeks!! 👍👍🔨
