We have some sad news pie lovers. Here at team Pie Thief, we’ve decided to close the doors for good. In good conscience, in order to stay on the right side of our creditors, we realised that the only option in this economic climate is to close the doors and SELL everything!
Our last day will be Sunday 20th of October. This will be your last chance to buy pies from our Footscray store. In the lead up to this, we will be running previous Pie of the Weeks, selling discounted frozen pies and on the last two days SELLING EVERYTHING.
On a personal note, thank you all so much for your support over the years. Pie Thief truly benefited from you all being such loyal fans. This is a very sad time for us, we wish there was another way. We’d love to see you all one last time - please come, fill your freezer, buy a plushie or a tote to remember us by and eat some delicious pies. It’d fill our hearts and would be a huge help in getting it all wrapped up.

We’ve become TikTok fiends here (who even are we?) and discovered this whacked out dish from South Korea called… Toowoomba Pasta! What? Apparently it originated at an Australian chain restaurant in Korea and as far as we can tell, has nothing to do with Toowoomba or for that matter Italy. But. Buuuut it is phenomenally delicious. Like, really very good.
Spicy, creamy macaroni that is loaded with heavily buttered prawns, mushrooms, CHEESE(!) & spring onions. This is like nothing you’ve tasted before. But there’s a reason it has gone crazy in Korea. It is so damn tasty.

This is a throwback to our VERY FIRST Pie of the Week! Nacho Pie!! This time we’ve gone with a Mexican 5 bean mix, braised in a smoky tomato chipotle sauce with roasted red capsicum. AND CORN CHIPS!!

I tell ya, this one is a BANGER! Caribbean Pulled Pork Pie with Pineapple Salsa! Slow cooked pork shoulder, braised in pineapple juice, brown sugar and jerk spice. Top that with a tangy pineapple & jalapeño salsa and we reckon you’ve got the perfect intro in Spring. Yumyumyum
