Bites On Wheels Bites On Wheels is Australia's first ever Polish food truck serving traditional Polish street food. Located on Mt Derrimut Road, Bites On Wheels offers mouth-watering Zapiekanka, a delicious open-faced baguette-style sandwich topped with melted cheese and various toppings. Though currently available only for private catering events, the food truck has served their famous Zapiekanka at events such as Moomba Festival and Groove and Graze in the past. With the heaviest heart we are here to announce that after 5 years of our great journey with all the ups and downs that we will no longer be serving Zapiekanka in the country.

Brief history-
one ordinary couple from Melbourne, Australia with only a two year old daughter jumped into this unknown world with only hopes and dreams.

2015, First ever Polish food truck was born Bites On Wheels in the heart of Australia. Thus the journey began with many 22 hour days with endless events and memories. An ordinary couple's small dream went big and achieved most of the major events in Melbourne.

A lots of laughters, stress, success, failures, sleepless nights, great times, Bites On Wheels had to come to an end of it's journey. Now we say a tearful goodbye to our friends, family, followers and fans.

We are only alive while you are dreaming and we die the day you stop dreaming

We would like to thank all our customers, event organisers, businesses associates, family and friends for their endless support and help.

We were very fortunate to make lifelong friendships with some people through this industry.

Our special thanks to City of Melbourne, City of Port Phillip, Brimbank Council, Gema Group, Australian GP corporation and some others for believing in us and in our products.

Last but not least our friends Nicholas Beggs, Roderick, khush, Ronal Shere, Sachin Garg and Fabian Wright for everything that you have done for us in last few years.

We will definitely cross paths at some point

To reach the food vendors located on Mt Derrimut Road in Melbourne, there are a few options for transportation.

If taking public transport, you can take the train to Deer Park Station and then catch Bus Route 400 towards Sunshine Station. Get off at Robinsons Road/Mt Derrimut Road and walk towards where you see food vendors parked.

If driving, take the Western Freeway/ M8 and take the Robinsons Road exit. Turn right onto Robinsons Road and continue until you reach Mt Derrimut Road where you will find the food vendors parked. There is parking available nearby along the road.

Please note that these directions are not specific to any particular food vendor or snack van.
