Just to let you all know .....
I’m currently exploring the possibility of restarting my historical tours and am making enquiries. I’m hoping to regain access to the buildings, and if permission is granted, I plan to resume operations in the near future. Let me know if you would be interested in attending one ....... MELBOURNE SHOOTING CASE
Business Man Wounded

Melbourne, Thursday –
A man armed with two sawn of Pea Rifles filed point blank at Percy Wallace, secretary in the Business Agents Association, as he was entering his office in Elizabeth Street. One bullet which was fired from a distance of 5ft cut off the lobe of his left ear, ploughed round the skull without penetrating the bone and lodged in the woodwork of a doorway. Arthur Hill { } who witnessed the shooting attacked the armed man who shouted “I’ve got one for you too”.

Two policemen arrested the gunman. He was an inmate of Sunbury Lunatic Asylum for some time, but for the last four months has been out on probation. He was well known to Mr. Wallace also to Mr. Arthur Hill, who has an office in the same building as Mr. Wallace. Yesterday he was seen in Mr.Wallace’s doorway. When Mr.Hill arrived at the premises this morning he again saw the
man there, and thinking he meant harm he warned Mr. Wallace but the latter laughed the matter off. Later as Mr. Wallace put his key in the front door he had a presentiment that something was going on behind him & looked round. As he did so he was shot in the ear.
