THURSDAY UPSTAIRS: URBAN GUERILLAS

A Triple Threat awaits all who venture upstairs at the Tote on Thursday January 16th 2025. Urban Guerillas will be in Melbourne, to launch their apocalyptic new single 'Invitation'. Joining them will be high-energy Melbourne veterans Brando Rising, presenting their self-titled album and the ever pumping Assassins with their new single 'Runaway'. The legendary Assassins will kick off the night with their catchy riffs and rockin' attitude before the blistering Brando Rising featuring members from New Christs, The Hitmen, Screaming Tribesmen, Lime Spiders, Funhouse, Mushroom Planet and Melbourne's longest running punk rock band, Glen & The Peanut Buttermen, pound the boards with Tony "The Kid" Robertson (Hitmen and The Naked Lunch) gluing it all together. The Guerillas will be even more fired up than usual after a day of dodging b-doubles on the Deadly Hume from Sydney. An historic night of celebration of new music, new angst and new energy from musicians and bands who have been giving it all and doing it strong since the eighties.

SATURDAY: GARAGE SALE

Catch Garage Sale before they embark on thier first ever US tour.
"Melbourne’s Garage Sale play music built on balancing intensity and emotion. Their sound merges quiet tenderness with raw, cathartic energy—finding beauty in the fragile moments, wearing their hearts on their sleeves. The band are presenting their live show, before they tour the USA in February/March ahead of new music. Joined by Swapmeet from South Australia, Freight from NSW and hometown-heros Es Muss Sein. JUST ANNOUNCED: NASHVILLE P***Y + SUPERSUCKERS

HARDLINE MEDIA proudly presents the SUPERP***Y TOUR - NASHVILLE P***Y & SUPERSUCKERS ON THE ONE BILL! - SUPRISE END OF TOUR SHOW @ THE TOTE..

NASHVILLE P***Y rocked our socks off with their sold out shows on their 2022 Aussie tour, including being the last band EVER to play the iconic Frankies in Sydney - which had well over 5000 people lining the streets of Sydney's CBD attempting to get into the club to witness the closing of the venue and Nashville P***y!!! Was a raucous Rock n Roll night, one for the history books.

Raised on a diet of Marshall stacks, Gibson Guitars, Jack Daniels and w**d, NASHVILLE P***Y is the bastard offspring of foul-mouthed, demented, hillbilly, ice-cream man BLAINE CARTWRIGHT and tractor driving, n**e art school model and guitar prodigy RUYTER SUYS.

Born deep in the Baptist Bible Belt of Kentucky, USA – BLAINE CARTWRIGHT used the sounds of The Ramones and The New York Dolls to maintain sanity. Meanwhile in Vancouver, Canada, 8 year old, hippie kid, Ruyter Suys picked up her father’s guitar and started playing along with Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix.
“We got married on a dare, after dropping acid... Nashville P***y is our baby,” says Suys.

“If there’s been a better band than Nashville P***y to open for Motörhead, I’ve never heard them” – Lemmy

So, take it from The Man Australia... DON’T MISS OUT ON NASHVILLE P***Y (appropriately) DOWN UNDER!

THE SUPERSUCKERS are an American rock band, formed in 1988, whose music ranges from Alternative Rock to Country Rock to Cowpunk. Described as "the bastard sons of Foghat, AC/DC, and ZZ Top after being weaned on punk rock, unafraid of massive guitar riffs, outsized personalities, or pledging allegiance to s*x, w**d, and Satan with a wink and a nudge” - AllMusic

Having had a long and colourful career with some Alt Hit singles along the way like "Born With A Tail" which received heavy airplay in Australia, THE SUPERSUCKERS return to Australia after their last tour had multiple sell out shows along the way. These legends of Cowpunk have a huge following here in Australia and these shows are sure to pack out.

THURSDAY: GREEBLE

IT’S A NEW YEAR MIRACLE Or a New Year +9 Days miracle, but let’s not get lost in the details. Greeble are a Naarm post-punk band that have recently discovered numbers that go above 4. Exciting! Joining them are dream-seers known amongst the living as Lalu, and mega-groovers of the transcendent kind, Tellerwood - together they’ll energise, magnetise, dancecise, tenderise, volumise, mesmerise, maybe even synthesise. And all in one night on the 9th of January at the Tote? It could be best night of 2025, but you’ll have to be there to find out
