After 3 incredible years, it’s time for us to say goodbye 💛

To our South Yarra community, our wonderful regulars, and our truly amazing team - thank you. Your support, loyalty, and warmth have meant everything to us. Pound Cafe has been so much more than a business; it’s been a place filled with connection, laughter, and so many special moments we’ll always carry with us.

We’re so proud of what we’ve built together, and we couldn’t have done it without every single one of you.

Now, we’re excited to pass the baton to Ali, who many of you already know as part of the Pound family. He’s been on this journey with us and we know he’ll continue to take great care of this special space. Please show him your support as he steps into this next chapter

We’re on the hunt for an experienced barista to join the team at our flagship, roaster-operated café just off Chapel St in South Yarra. 
This role is 4–5 days per week, with weekend availability essential. 
We’re looking for someone with a big personality and a strong focus on customer service. Confidence working both solo and within a team, along with experience across blends, single origins and batch brew. A genuine interest in expanding knowledge in all things coffee is a must. 
POUND is home to a tight-knit community of loyal regulars who love great coffee and a good chat.
