We are seeking one experienced Pastry Chef to join our Doncaster team! 🎂🍰 Someone who’s not just skilled, but passionate about the craft of pastry!
Experience / Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in a professional pastry or patisserie kitchen (Required)
Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent qualification (Preferred)
Valid Australian working rights – must hold PR or TR visa with no working restrictions
Part-time position: 3-4 days per week (must be avalibale for one of the weekend)
About You
Passionate about creating beautiful, high-quality pastries and desserts
Strong technical pastry skills and confidence to work both independently and as part of a small creative team
Excellent attention to detail, especially in finishing and presentation
Professional, reliable, and punctual with a proactive mindset
Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced open kitchen environment
Strong time management and organisational skills
Clear communication, both written and verbal
Committed to food safety, hygiene, and OHS standards
A positive, team-oriented attitude with leadership potential

Soft pandan chiffon, fragrant coconut and sweet red bean come together in a cake inspired by the familiar flavours of zongzi, finished with a playful amuseable design that is almost too cute to eat 🥹🍃
A little nostalgic, a little comforting, and only available for a few days each year.

If you're taking public transport, the closest train station to Doncaster Road in Doncaster is the Blackburn Station. From there, you can take bus route 280 towards Doncaster Shopping Centre and get off at stop 50 on Doncaster Rd. The café should be within walking distance from there.
If you're driving, take the Eastern Freeway towards Doncaster Road and exit at the Tram Road exit. Turn right onto Tram Road then left onto Williamsons Road. Turn right onto Manningham Rd then left onto Tram Rd again. Finally, turn left onto Doncaster Rd where the cafe should be located.
In terms of parking, there are a few options available around the area including metered street parking and nearby parking lots. Be sure to check for any restrictions or time limits before leaving your car.
