You're not too tired to cook. You're too tired to decide.

Anyone who has stood in front of an open fridge at 6pm knows the difference. The cooking isn't the hard part. It's the deciding, the shopping, the working out what everyone will eat.

That's the part we take off you. On the bench today:

1. Braised Pork Belly & Egg with white rice
2. Chicken Chow Mein
3. Beef Stew with white rice
4. Satay Chicken Stir Fry with brown rice
5. Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry with white rice

Plus 5 vegetarian dishes running alongside, a full parallel menu.

400g each, cooked fresh in our Cheltenham kitchen, delivered Wednesday across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. Heat and eat.

The next menu opens Thursday 9am and closes Sunday 10pm.

What time of day does the "what's for dinner" question hit you hardest?

Skip a week. We won't chase you.

The word subscription puts people off, usually because they picture something difficult to get out of. Ours can run weekly or fortnightly, saves you 10% on every order, and lets you skip or pause a delivery without having to contact us.

Fortnightly is worth considering if five meals every week is more than you need. You keep the discount, receive a box every second week, and can skip when your plans change.

On this week's menu:
Braised Pork Belly and Egg
Chicken Chow Mein
Beef Stew
Satay Chicken
Teriyaki Chicken
Plus five vegetarian dishes.

Orders close tonight at 10pm for Wednesday delivery.

Would you rather lock in a routine, or choose fresh every week? πŸ‘‡

You don't have to eat all 5.

There's usually one dish on any menu you look at and think, not for me. You can tell us.

Above the Add to Cart button there are 2 boxes. The first is for standing notes, the things you never want in your box. No pork. No seafood. Mild only. Tell us once and it sticks to every delivery after that.

The second is for swaps. Don't want one of this week's 5? Tell us what to put in its place. If we can't do it that week, we'll message you before we cook, not after.

On the menu now: braised pork belly and egg, chicken chow mein, beef stew, satay chicken, teriyaki chicken. 5 vegetarian dishes run alongside.

Orders close Sunday 10pm.

Which dish would you swap out first?

11/08/2026

Three kinds of rice for ten dishes. Nobody's ever ordered us for the rice.

White rice for the poached chicken and the kung pao. Coconut rice for the Thai red curry, because a curry sitting on plain white tastes like half a dish. Quinoa rice for the vegan mushroom stew.

That's three pots going this morning on top of the cooking itself, for the same ten dishes.

One big batch of white would be easier. It would also be worse, and you'd taste it by Wednesday night.

Nothing to order today. The new menu opens Thursday 9am.

Be honest, do you notice the rice, or is it the bit you scrape aside?

If you're not on the list by 10pm, we don't buy your food.

At 10 tonight I sit down and write the shopping list straight off this week's orders. We buy exactly that and nothing extra. Message me Monday and there's nothing in the fridge with your name on it.

On the list this week: poached chicken with ginger scallion sauce, twice cooked pork belly stir fry, beef yakisoba noodles, kung pao chicken, thai red meatball curry. There are 5 vegetarian dishes as well.

Connie cooks it Tuesday. It's at your door Wednesday morning, Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula, or you can pick up from our Cheltenham kitchen.

Orders close 10pm tonight. Which one would you eat first?

We're not the cheapest dinner you can buy.

$17.18 a meal. Cooking the same thing yourself costs less, and if you've got the time this week, do that. Honestly.

This is for the other weeks. The ones where it gets to 6pm and nobody has thought about dinner.

What $17.18 buys: a 400g meal, cooked Tuesday in our Cheltenham kitchen, chilled overnight, at your door Wednesday. Never frozen, never made in a factory.

On the menu this week:
1. Poached Chicken with Ginger Scallion Sauce
2. Twice Cooked Pork Belly Stir Fry
3. Beef Yakisoba Noodles
4. Kung Pao Chicken
5. Thai Red Meatball Curry

The vegetarian pack runs 5 dishes of its own, same week. Have a look through both.

Menu is open now, orders close Sunday 10pm. We deliver across Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula, or you can pick up from Cheltenham.

Be honest with us, what's your usual 6pm move, cook or order in?

04/08/2026

We don't start cooking until the orders are in.

The menu closed Sunday at 10pm. We built our shopping list from your orders, sourced the ingredients, and today Connie is cooking.

Everything going into tomorrow's boxes started as raw ingredients this morning. The meals are cooked today, chilled overnight and delivered Wednesday morning.

It's a slower way to run a food business, but it means we cook for real orders instead of stock that sits in storage, and very little goes in the bin.

There's nothing to order today. A brand new menu opens Thursday at 9am, with 5 meat dishes and 5 vegetarian dishes.

Would knowing exactly when your meals were cooked make a difference to you? πŸ‘‡

02/08/2026

It's 6pm on a Wednesday and you haven't thought about dinner once.

No shopping. No chopping. No standing in front of an open fridge at the end of a long day working out what you can make from half a cabbage.

You pick one, heat it for 4 minutes, and everyone eats.

That's the whole thing we sell. The evening back.

Braised Chicken with Chestnuts. Sticky Soy Chicken Meatballs. Nui Xao Bo. Orders close tonight at 10pm, at your door Wednesday.

Sorted for dinner, or still winging it? πŸ‘‡

Macaroni, beef and tomato. After-school food, not restaurant food.

That's Nui Xao Bo, and it's on this week's menu because it's what we eat at home. No test kitchen decided it. Kathy did, the same way she decides what goes on her own table.

Swipe for the full 10. 5 meat, 5 vegetarian, and not one of them an afterthought.

Pick 5, 7, 10 or 14 meals. Subscribe and save 10% on every order.

Orders close Sunday 10pm. Cooked Tuesday, at your door Wednesday.

Did anyone else grow up on Nui Xao Bo? πŸ‘‡

28/07/2026

Every Tuesday, we retire the menu and start again.

We've done that for more than 140 weeks since 2023. A new set of 10 meals, 5 meat and 5 vegetarian, every single week.

It would be easier to choose 10 dishes and rotate them forever. Plenty of meal companies do.

But you'd be bored by week 3, and honestly, we'd be bored by week 2.

So every week, Connie goes back to the wok and cooks them all from scratch.

Cooked today. At your door tomorrow.

A brand-new menu opens Thursday at 9am.

Which meal would you pick first? πŸ‘‡
