Before Gourmet Guru... there was just us. ❤️
This photo was taken when we were in our twenties.
Long before Gourmet Guru Catering was even a dream.
Sonia was a young chef, building her career in Melbourne's hospitality industry, while Chris was a budding travel agent, helping people experience the world.
On the surface, they seem like two very different careers.
But they actually have one thing in common...
Hospitality.
Whether it's creating an unforgettable meal or an unforgettable holiday, it's all about looking after people, paying attention to the little details, and creating experiences they'll remember.
Looking back, perhaps Gourmet Guru wasn't such an unlikely destination after all.
Some journeys just take a few extra turns before you realise where they were leading you.

For another year, we've kept our Discounted Community Catering Program at just $20 per person for a delicious two-course meal delivered hot to eligible community organisations.
With the rising cost of food, utilities and wages, it certainly hasn't been easy. But we know many community groups, sporting clubs, schools, churches and not-for-profit organisations are feeling those same pressures. The last thing we want is for a fundraising dinner, volunteer celebration or community event to become unaffordable.
Our goal has always been simple: make quality catering accessible to the organisations that do so much to bring people together.
Every meal is chef-made from scratch using fresh, wholesome ingredients, because we believe community groups deserve the same quality and care as every other Gourmet Guru client.
Supporting our local community has never been about offering the cheapest meal. It's about delivering exceptional value while helping organisations continue the incredible work they do.
