Four years ago, a young ragazza walked through our doors and on Friday, we say arrivederci (for now) to someone who became family.
Georgia, watching you grow up at Joia Cucina has been one of our greatest joys. From day one shifts to the character who’s kept us laughing through every service, you’ve poured your heart into this place and it shows.
Now you’re off to chase the biggest dream of all: drama school in New York. 🗽 We couldn’t be prouder, and we know this is only the beginning for you.

To reach the bar and Italian restaurant/café located on Upper Heidelberg Road in Melbourne, you can opt for public transport or driving.
If you prefer using public transportation, take a train to Heidelberg Station and then board the Bus 903 towards Mordialloc. Alight at the stop at Upper Heidelberg Road near Marshall Avenue. Walk down Marshall Avenue until you reach Upper Heidelberg Road. The place will be on your left.
For those who plan to drive, take the Eastern Freeway and exit at Burke Road Northcote. Turn left onto Burke Road towards Ivanhoe as it becomes Upper Heidelberg Road. You will pass through several roundabouts before reaching the destination on your right-hand side.
Alternatively, street parking is available along Upper Heidelberg Road with no time limitations.
