Madeline Leman is a kindred of the women of the 1960s and 70s. Her blend of alt-folk, rock’n’roll and country balances power and whimsy creating a sound that is simultaneously classic and unique. Madeline sings in protest, love and reverence for the natural world; her songs rooted in melody and storytelling. In 2018 she released her first single ‘Diva With The Fever Of Change’ which RRR called a 'year defining song.’ In 2019 she released her debut album ‘Nobody’s Fool’, played a showcase at the 2019 Australian Music Week conference as well as Out On The Weekend and Reservoir Stomp Festival. In May 2021 the band followed up with the single ‘This is Living’, a 60s dream pop track that debuted at number 1 on the Amrap metro charts. After the birth of her first baby, Madeline is back to release her sophomore album in 2026.
