Our Mafaldine Mediterraneo - mafaldine tossed with broccoli, sun-dried tomato, cherry tomatoes, garlic, chilli, breadcrumbs, parsley and pecorino. Simple ingredients, done properly.
Made fresh at Maccaroni, finished with just the right amount of pecorino and best enjoyed with a glass of somethin Italian.

We've been very busy in the kitchen, here's a sneak peek of just a few of the new menu items coming to the Maccaroni table 🍝
Saffron Mussels Soup - fresh mussels, butter, cream and saffron with homemade toasted bread
Porchetta - oven-baked and served with fennel purée, roasted potatoes and an orange dressing
Orange Prawns Cocktail - prawns, fresh orange, orange mayonnaise and homemade toasted bread

Maccaroni didn't start with a business plan. It started with a family from Sicily, a new city, and our favourite thing to do, cook.
Dad built the first restaurant on Manchester Lane from the ground up. 15 years later, we did it all over again on Bourke Street, we painted, we laid the floors, we built the bar.
Along the way, the family grew - not just by blood, but by the people who showed up, stayed, and made Maccaroni what it is today. The kitchen team. The floor staff and the regulars who feel more like relatives ♥️
15 years later, it's still a family business. Just a bigger famiglia than we ever imagined.
