Sun Wah has been part of Mordialloc since the 1960s. That is not something you just stumble into.
Albert and Rowena took on this kitchen with a clear vision. Keep what makes it special, push it further, and never stop caring about what lands on the plate. Over the past five years they have taken traditional Cantonese roots and built something that is genuinely their own. A blend of Eastern and Western technique that you will not find quite like this anywhere else.
That kind of story does not happen overnight. We are grateful every time someone pulls up a chair and becomes part of it.

Mother's Day is coming up and we want to make sure Mum actually gets a meal worth remembering.
This year we are doing it two ways. A Yum Cha lunch running from 11:30am to 2pm for those who like it relaxed and unhurried, and a Chef's Sharing Dinner from 6pm for those who want to make a proper evening of it.
Bookings are already open and spots will go fast. Get in early and lock in something she will genuinely love.

With the unfortunate car incident that has damaged the front of our restaurant, the front entrance has now reopened with the dining room back to full capacity.
