On Saturday October 10th, Munich Brauhaus The Rocks is taking Oktoberfest out of the bier hall and onto the street for a full day of music, games, dancing and good old-fashioned German revelry.
Kalender Band brings the oompah from the start, with face painting, dancing and classic Oktoberfest games throughout the day: including Yodelling and Stein Holding competitions.
Then things get even bigger as the sun goes down, with the street takeover kicking off outside.
Tickets are $25pp and include a souvenir Oktoberfest hat and 500ml Munich L***r to get things started.

Tomorrow night is the night! Our Oktoberfest celebrations begin at the Brauhaus.
The band will strike up. Traditional dancers will take the floor. Pork knuckles will crackle. Schnitzels will stretch beyond their plates. Warm pretzels will be pulled apart and dipped in mustard.

Bavaria by the Yarra
Munich Brauhaus South Wharf brings a little Bavaria to the Yarra, with a sprawling bier garden, communal tables and a year-round Oktoberfest atmosphere.
The menu goes big on crispy pork knuckles, golden schnitzels and haus-made pretzels, with imported German bier pouring into frozen steins. Drop by for lunch, bring the family for a Sunday feast or turn up when the live music does and make a night of it.
