A cheese plate for dinner is perfectly reasonable in our eyes! 🧀 Right now, we’re serving:
🤍Bruny Island Saint, Tasmania: soft, oozy and richly flavoured with a delicate bloomy rind.
💛Shepherd’s Whey, Gippsland: buttery and caramel-rich with a savoury finish.
💙Long Paddock Bluestone, Castlemaine: a beautifully balanced blue, buttery, creamy and gently crumbly.
Perfect with a glass of Pennyweight Winery Fino Sherry.
*Cheeses pictured may differ. Our cheese selection changes regularly.*

Thank you, Hospitality magazine and Australian Hotelier, for ranking us #4 Gastropub in Australia’s Top 50!
Twelve years into the journey of owning this beautiful 172-year-old pub, and being an independent owner-operator is still one wild ride.
We’re incredibly grateful for the recognition we’ve received over the years, but even more grateful for the people who make it all worthwhile. We’ll keep reinvesting in this grand dame, looking after her for our wonderful guests and regulars, and ensuring she’s passed on proudly to future generations.
We love a good time, we love great food, and love championing the hardworking Aussie brewers, winemakers, distillers, producers, farmers and makers who help make this place what it is.
Thanks to everyone who’s supported us along the way. Here’s to what comes next!
See you at The Lincoln soon! 🍻

🎣 Australia’s world-class fisheries produce some exceptional seafood, and we’re proud to showcase many of them here at The Lincoln.
🐟 Blue grenadier from Southern Australian waters for our fish and chips.
🐙 Sustainably wild-caught Fremantle octopus and Shark Bay scallops from Western Australia.
🦪 Organic rock oysters from Wapengo Lake in New South Wales or Boomer Bay in Tasmania.
Proud to support Aussie seafood producers! 💙 Head in and try them for yourselves 😊

The magic words we all really want to hear? ✨HIGH PROTEIN✨ (like, really, really high📈)
Coffee and spice-rubbed kangaroo loin, paired with local oyster mushrooms, organic fioretto cauliflower, mash, pickled shallots, and finished with a deeply flavoured jus.
Rich, earthy and unmistakably Australian. And proof that “eating your protein” doesn’t have to mean just another chicken breast! 🏋️

Australian restaurants are known for their focus on high-quality, sustainable and seasonal produce. The Lincoln, a grand old Melbourne pub built in 1854, is no exception to this rule. This Australian restaurant is a gastropub and pub that has been serving its customers for over 160 years.
The Lincoln's kitchen works closely with small regional suppliers to ensure that they use only the highest quality ingredients. They also make as much as possible in-house, from their bread, mustard and pickles to curing their own free-range bacon. This dedication to quality is evident in every dish they serve.
The public bar at The Lincoln has retained its art-deco features and boasts 12 taps featuring craft beer, showcasing speciality brewing at its best. Their wine list focuses on small interesting producers, offering pleasant surprises for those who are keen to try something a little different.
