For those days when you’re a little too cold for just ice cream...
Our homemade winter waffles have officially arrived 🧇
Created by our very own Milly for BVC, they’re served warm with vanilla ice cream, maple caramel and toasted coconut crunch.
Originally developed as a wheat waffle, the gluten-free version quietly stole the show in a blind taste test and has been keeping us warm through the cooler months ever since.
Perfect for those days when you’re craving something sweet but need a little more than just a scoop 🙌🏼
If you’re staying awhile, we’ll happily serve yours on a real plate with proper cutlery. One less takeaway container, and a much nicer way to spend an afternoon.
Come and try them in all our shops this winter! ❄️

This week’s special: Double Pear Cream 🍐
One of our favourite things about working with seasonal produce is finding ways to enjoy it a little longer.
For this week’s special, local fresh pears are poached in vanilla syrup before being transformed into a creamy pear ice cream, layered with a chewy pear swirl throughout.
Sweet, fragrant and comforting, it’s the kind of flavour that feels right at home as the weather starts to cool.
Available until sold out!

A few of the ingredients making their way through the kitchen last week...
Good ice cream starts with fresh produce. We love working with seasonal fruit and making the most of what’s available at its peak. It means better flavour, better texture, and a variety of specials that shift naturally with the seasons!
Enjoy a small behind-the-scenes look at where it all starts. What’s your favourite fruit this time of year?🍏

We’ve paired up with our friends at .tm to bring together their love for beautifully pickled fruits and veggies and our love for natural wholesome ice cream and have concocted two eccentric flavours. Working together with a vision to create an out-of-the-ordinary flavour that highlights the savour of ACIDE’s pickles, we also knew that there was an enticing opportunity to create something new using Jon’s expertise of pickling and our shared love for in-season produce coming to life.
ACIDE’s dill pickles are harmoniously paired with fresh cucumbers and lemon juice, which results in an intense, yet balanced dill pickle sorbet - an approachable savoury offering topped with a pickle spear for the full flavour adventure.
For those who love something more sweet, we’ve paired pickled plums with a homemade brown butter crumble to create a pairing that is equally tart yet cozy to suit the early stages of winter. We sourced local plums from our friends at Goon Fruits in Nar Nar Goon who run a small orchard and hand pick everything as a family. ACIDE pickled them while they were at their peak: bringing about a celebration of preserving the seasons in time.
Available across all stores starting May 29.
