From a Tom of Finland Print to Local Artworks, a S*x Swing and other assorted goodies, we had HEAPS under the hammer at the last Northside Bizarre Auction House, and we want to outdo ourselves this year!
This one-day street festival celebrates Melbourne’s q***r kink culture and community, and it's all for a good cause - raising critical funds for our LGBTIQ+ & HIV services
If you have gift hampers, vouchers, rare memorabilia, specialty services, or anything else of interest* to our diverse communities, get in touch with our team at [email protected].
*No used insertables and no VHS or DVD items. 🚨 WE MEAN IT THIS TIME 🚨

Follow the Leatherman is back this Thursday.
Maybe you've been leather-curious. Maybe you've walked past The Laird a dozen times. Maybe you've even had "I'll go one day..." on your to-do list for the last two years.
Wait no more!
Follow the Leatherman is a relaxed meet-up hosted by Laird Leatherman 2024, Jay and Laird Leatherman 2026 - Sir Z for anyone who's curious about leather, kink, or simply wants to meet some genuinely good company before heading to Spit & Polish.
How does it work?
From 7:30pm, every third Thursday of the month, you meet up at Stingos Hotel, a historical and long standing supporter of the leather and LGBTQI+ communities.
No pressure, No gatekeepers. No expectation that you'll know what a Sam Browne is or own five pairs of boots.
We'll chat, answer questions, introduce you to a few friendly faces, and when everyone's ready, we'll wander over to The Laird together.
Who knows? You might discover your next favourite Thursday night.
If you have some leather gear, bring them with you. If not, that's perfectly fine too.
A smile is an acceptable dress code.
🖤 New to leather? Perfect.
🖤 New to kink? Come say hello.
🖤 Been around forever? We'd love you to help welcome the next generation.
Everyone starts somewhere.
Come follow the Leatherman.

What people say
The Laird, located on Gipps Street in Melbourne, is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. As one of Australia's longest running gay-owned and operated venues, The Laird has become an iconic staple of the local scene. With its 'male-only' status granted by the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), The Laird has been able to maintain its history and service to the gay community while still opening its doors a few times a year for community events.
Formerly known as "Melbourne's only bear and leather bar", The Laird has evolved over the years into a haven, meeting place, and party space for same-sex attracted CIS and Trans males. With three bars, a massive beer garden downstairs, and unique accommodation upstairs, The Laird caters to a wide range of men from all over the world.
Whether you're a local or just visiting Melbourne, The Laird is an excellent place to meet new people in a friendly environment. So why not stop by this iconic venue any night of the week? You won't be disappointed!
