A little message from the Dumbo team 🐘
We love our community, and we genuinely want to keep Dumbo the way it is. Good hospitality, looking after people, taking your order, bringing your food to the table and trusting that everything is taken care of at the end of your visit.
We don’t want QR codes.
We don’t want to make everything transactional.
We want hospitality to feel like hospitality.
But recently, we’ve had a number of situations, particularly with larger groups sitting outside, that have really disappointed us.
We’re a small business. Our team works incredibly hard, and when people come in, enjoy themselves and leave without taking care of things properly, it’s incredibly disrespectful to the people behind Dumbo.
You know who you are.
We don’t want to have to change the way we do things. But honestly, it’s becoming harder to maintain the trust and the way of doing things that we’ve always valued.
We want to trust our customers. We want to look after you. We want to give you genuine, honest hospitality.
To everyone who continues to support us and looks after our team, thank you. 🫶🏻✨

Our pan fried potato gnocchi with creamy labneh, warm harissa butter, whipped feta, toasted walnuts, fresh dill and a drizzle of honey. Every bite hits that perfect mix of rich, creamy and crunchy.
It’s the kind of dish that has everyone at the table asking for a bite.

A plate worth leaving the house for. 🍝❄️
Our pork & milk ragù pappardelle is one of the most popular dishes on the Dumbo menu right now.
Slow cooked pork & milk ragù, fresh pappardelle, crispy sage, toasted hazelnuts and pecorino. Rich, comforting and made for Melbourne’s colder days.
