After 25 amazing years of serving Richmond and creating memories at our beloved hotel, it’s time for The Reardon family to pass the keys to a new chapter.

Yes, after a quarter-century of laughter, hard work, and many many beers, we are officially saying goodbye to our hotel, which has been so much more than a business—it’s been a family tradition.

The decision wasn’t an easy one, but the time has come for us to step aside and wish the new owners all the best as they take over on December 23rd, 2024. We’re confident they’ll carry on the spirit of warmth and community that we’ve always tried to create here.

To our wonderful team, thank you for your dedication and hard work. You’ve been the heart and soul of this place, and we couldn’t have done it without you. And to our loyal customers—whether you popped in for a quick pint or spent hours at the bar sharing stories, you made our hotel feel like home. We are so thankful for every conversation, every toast, and every friendly face we’ve encountered over the years.

With a long history of pubs in our family around the Melbourne area since the 1960’s, it’s been an amazing time for our family; now spanning four generations behind the bar.

We’d love to see you all over the next two weeks—please stop by, say hello, and of course, say goodbye. We are so grateful for this chapter of our lives and will truly miss the friends and family we have made along this journey.

Here’s to new beginnings and a big thank you for all the wonderful memories.
