If you’re coming from the city center, you can take any tram that goes down Bourke Street and get off at the intersection with Spring Street. From there, transfer to tram number 86 heading towards Bundoora RMIT and get off at stop 19 on Smith Street. The Train Yard is a short walk away from there.
If you’re driving, take La Trobe Street until you reach Victoria Parade, then turn left onto Smith Street. You should be able to find street parking nearby.
Alternatively, you can take the train to Parliament Station and then transfer to tram number 86 or any of the trams that go down Bourke Street as mentioned above.
