Why does my dog eat grass? 🌱🐶
It’s one of those things almost every dog owner has wondered about - but grass eating doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong.
Dogs might munch on grass because:
🌿 It’s simply a natural instinct
🌱 They enjoy the extra roughage
🤢 Their tummy is feeling a little off
🧬 It’s an instinctive behaviour passed down from their ancestors
😋 Or… they just like the taste!
For most dogs, the occasional grass snack is completely normal. But if it suddenly becomes excessive or comes with frequent vomiting, diarrhea or changes in behaviour, it’s worth having a chat with your vet.
Sometimes dogs are just dogs. 😂🌱

What’s actually in your dog’s bowl? 👀🐾
Kibble labels can be confusing and some ingredients sound much better than they actually are.
“Meat meal” isn’t fresh meat.
Artificial colours are there for us, not our dogs.
And vague ingredients like “by-products”? We’d rather know exactly what we’re feeding.

💩 Let’s talk poo...
It might not be the most glamorous topic, but your dog’s poo can tell you a lot about what’s going on inside their body.
One of the first things many owners notice after switching to a complete and balanced raw diet is a change in their dog’s stools.
✅ Smaller poos
✅ Firmer, well-formed stools
✅ Less odour
✅ Often less frequent
Why? Because fresh, raw food is generally highly digestible, meaning your dog is able to absorb more of the nutrients they need, leaving less waste behind.
Every dog is different, and diet is just one factor that can influence stool quality. But healthy, consistent poos are a great sign that your dog’s digestive system is doing its job.
