12 days to go until Plate 4 Plate Day ⏳💚
Mark it in the calendar: Thursday 15 October. On the day, every burrito, bowl, Kids Zam Box and retail item ordered in-store or on the Zam Fam app means double the meals donated, to communities around the world and right here in Australia.
Lock in the team lunch, plan the family dinner, or just treat yourself. Either way, you eat and we donate double 🌯

We see that face a lot. The one where you're standing at the counter, staring at the menu, trying to decide between six proteins, seven signature sauces, black rice or white, bowl or burrito. And honestly, we love that for you.
Because at Zambrero, there's no wrong choice. Just different ways to build something that's fresh, made your way, and genuinely worth the extra 30 seconds of deliberation.
Take your time. Then enjoy every bit of it.

110,000,000 meals 🌍
Since our very first restaurant opened in 2005, we’ve donated a meal on average every 6 seconds through Plate 4 Plate. 10 a minute. 14,400 a day.
And every single one started with someone buying lunch. A burrito here, a bowl there. That’s the whole mechanism.
So this isn’t really our milestone. It’s yours 💚 Thank you.

What people say
Zambrero is not your typical fast food restaurant. It's a Mexican restaurant with a mission to tackle world hunger. Every time you purchase a burrito or bowl, they donate a meal to someone in need through their Plate 4 Plate initiative. So not only do you get to enjoy delicious and healthy Mexican-inspired food, but you also get to make a positive impact on the world.
Their menu offers a variety of options including burritos, tacos, nachos, and quesadillas made with the freshest ingredients and fresh ideas. You can customize your order to fit your taste preferences and dietary needs.
Zambrero's commitment to ending world hunger is truly inspiring. Since its formation in 2005 by Dr. Sam Prince, millions of meals have been provided to those living in poverty around the world through their initiative. They have already donated over 36 million meals and aim to donate 1 billion by 2025.
With over 200 restaurants across Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and the United States, Zambrero is making a difference one meal at a time. Visit their ground floor location in Caulfield East for some feel-good Mex and join the fight against world hunger.
