If you've seen our Father's Day menu, you've seen that tasty sounding Black Angus Porterhouse. We've plated one up to show it off, and it looks absolutely beautiful!
The Black Angus Porterhouse will be served with black garlic salted fat chips, apple & celeriac Waldorf salad, brandy peppercorn butter, and jus.

We have a new cocktail special here at Casalinga, this is the Spiced Apple Pie!
A delightful blend of chilli-infused apple schnapps, Dubliner honeycomb liqueur, Dewar's scotch whisky, and apple juice, all in a glass rimmed with cinnamon sugar.
It's like a warm hug in a glass, perfect for thawing out on these freezing winter days and nights.

Last night we had a group in to celebrate a 70th birthday!
They had asked us to make a cake for them, so we made this beautiful profiterole tower, this one had two different fillings in the profiteroles, one was chocolate mousse, the other was cointreau, orange, and white chocolate!
Over the tower was a white chocolate drip, and some honeycomb.

Another one of our new desserts is these beautiful Canoli RIngs!
Each one is filled with Angostura aromatic bitters & white chocolate pattissiere, served with blood orange butterscotch, dark chocolate sorbet, pistachio liquor reduction, and pistachio praline.

Today we had a group in to celebrate a 70th birthday! For their special occasion, they asked us to prepare a cake for them, and this is the result!
This is a profiterole tower, the profiteroles have 3 different fillings, white chocolate and raspberry, lemon curd, and pistachio. The whole tower is covered in a white chocolate drip, then decorated with dehydrated raspberry powder, honeycomb, fresh raspberries, and flowers.

This beautiful dish, one that has been on our menu for a while now, is too good not to show off.
This is our Pan-Fried Potato Gnocchi! House-made gnocchi, sautéed in garlic, chilli, sage & caramelised red onion, served with wilted rocket, crumbled feta, lemon butter, green oil.
Some people have described our gnocchi as "so light and fluffy, it's like you're eating clouds"

This tasty looking sweet treat is our Bruleed Mandarin & Dark Chocolate Tart! served with passionfruit gel, earl grey marshmallow, vanilla slice ice-cream, Cointreau meringue, and whipped cream.
