This family-run business is owned by husband and wife team Julia and Antonio, along with Julia's mother Rose. The love, passion, dedication, sacrifice, and hard work put into this place are evident in the authentic Italian food they serve.
Antonio, an experienced chef from Sardinia who has worked around the world, brings his strong love and passion for food to Italiana Delicatessen. Julia, an actress full of creativity and love for good food, learned many of her mother's recipes and qualities that she now shares with customers.
The shop itself is part of South Yarra Square (or Piazza), making it the perfect spot to enjoy a fresh made-to-order panino and espresso while watching the fountain. The infectious love and friendliness of the team will make you feel welcomed as soon as you step inside.
