A Culinary Journey Begins.🔥

Every unforgettable dish begins with a journey. This is ours.🔥

Chef Dursun is travelling through Turkiye, visiting Istanbul, Gaziantep, Sanlıurfa, Gobeklitepe, Mardin and Ankara, discovering regional flavours, timeless traditions and fresh inspiration to bring back to Bodrum Essendon.

During this time, Bodrum Essendon will be temporarily closed from 30 July to 10 September 2026 as our culinary journey continues through Europe.

We'll reopen on Friday, 11 September 2026, with exciting new dishes, fresh inspiration and unforgettable experiences from our wood-fired kitchen.

Thank you for your continued support and for being part of our journey.

We can't wait to share what's next.🔥

While Melbourne sleeps, this clay pot keeps cooking...

🔥 Slow-cooked over a wood fire for hours.
🏺 Traditional clay pot.
🥩 Tender lamb.
🧆 Rich, flavourful chickpeas.

Not every chef cooks with fire.
Some become the fire itself. 🔥

Chef Dursun built this kitchen with passion, sacrifice and long nights beside the wood fire — to show Melbourne that Turkish food is more than kebabs… it’s tradition, patience, smoke, soul and flavour.

Today isn’t just another service.
Today we celebrate the birthday of the man behind the fire. 👨🏻‍🍳❤️

Every slow-cooked lamb shank, every tray of baklava, every flame in our oven carries his story.

Happy Birthday Chef Dursun.
Thank you for bringing your culture, passion and fire to Melbourne.

Tonight we celebrate. 🔥
Lunch & Dinner open.
