The Team at Black Sapphire St Kilda have taken an early Christmas break for the remainder of the year to have a well deserved break! After all it’s the only time of the year us passionate hospitality workers get to enjoy a nice short break and enjoy a few drinks with family & friends.
We want to thank everyone for your love and support shown to us this past year! We are sure we have put many smiles on faces, fed a lot of hungry tummies and most of all delivered a great dining experience for everyone that has come through our doors.
With the new year, comes new beginnings! We will be relocating to a bigger and better space in 2024! We will be able to accommodate a lot more of our customers in the one seating as we were only a small seated restaurant but now we will also have a great function space to be able host all types of events!
We hope you will continue to follow us on our journey and can’t wait to show you all what we have coming in the new year! Watch this space!

Public Transport:
Take the tram on any of the following routes and alight at Domain Interchange: 3, 3a, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 and then walk towards St. Kilda Road for about 300 meters until you reach your destination.
Driving/Parking:
If you are driving to the restaurant from central Melbourne travel south down St Kilda Road towards Prahran until you reach the intersection of Commercial Road. Turn left onto Commercial Road and then turn right on to Arthur St where you will find a car park that is available for public use. Alternatively continue driving south down St Kilda road and take the first right after Commercial road which will lead you onto Bowen Crescent where there is also a paid public parking facility available.
