Howdy there folks!!
It's been a little while, hey!?
Well, after pulling the diner apart and then having a monumental amount of sleep; I have finally resurfaced!
This is just a quick post today to tell you all that one of the things I'll be doing post This Borderland is building furniture, lighting etc under the name Aurochs Furniture Design (I'll let you know more details soon).
And the first item I'll be selling is the honeycomb-inspired main light fixture from This Borderland!
This was the absolute, very first thing that I built when I started fitting out the diner all the way back at the beginning of 2017, and as such it really means a lot to me.
But I don't have the space to install it anywhere now, so I'd love to see it go somewhere it'll be enjoyed as much as it was in the diner.
It's going for $1700, the dimensions are 2330 x 985mm, and I've just replaced all of the bulbs.
I hope one of you can give it the home it deserves!

I can't believe it's finally here.
It's always felt so far off in the distance; but no longer.
It is the last week of This Borderland!
A big thanks to all of you for helping to make the last 7 years some of the best I've had!
It's not all doom and gloom though, as I had a stash of delightful cheeses I needed to use up, so we have our old fan favourite Mac and Cheese croquettes back for this last weekend (or until sold out)!
There's also a record amount of cheesecake and cherry pie available, so make sure you come in at some point over the next 4 nights and have a final beer with Ox (me)!
Thanks again for all your patronage and support along the way!
I'm really gonna miss this place (although I am going to ABSOLUTELY love sleeping for most of next week).

Hello and welcome to 'Number Facts' with your old pal Ox!!

- Did you know the word 'eleven' comes from the Old English word "endleofan," meaning "ten and one left over"?
- 11 is the first double digit prime number (and 5th overall).
- Also in mathematics, Pascal's Triangle (an infinite, triangular arrangement of numbers where each number is the sum of the two numbers directly above it, starting with 1 at the top) is arranged such that (when each whole row is read as a single number) each successive row is 11 times the value of the previous row.
- and, maybe most importantly of all; 11 is also sadly the number of times This Borderland will ever open its doors again!
Tonight, Saturday and Sunday + 2 more weeks = ONLY ELEVEN NIGHTS LEFT FOREVER!!
So come on in and eat some cherry pie to chase away the impending sorrow!!
(But be quick! Three pies were made last week, and they ALL sold on Friday night!! This week there are 4 pies, but I don't realistically expect them to last much longer.....)
