WE’RE HIRING: OTB / TRAINING COORDINATOR
Love sailing, coaching and helping the next generation get out on the water?
Royal Brighton Yacht Club is looking for an experienced OTB / Training Coordinator to join our sailing team in a full-time role.
You’ll help lead RBYC’s Discover Sailing Centre and training programs, coordinate and develop our instructors and coaches, and work directly with sailors across junior development, OTB sailing, keelboats and club programs.
You’ll also play an important role in developing our Stonehaven Cup team, identifying emerging young sailors and supporting racing, regattas and major sailing events at the Club.
⛵ Full-time role, Wednesday to Sunday during term

⛵ Lead and develop instructors and coaches
⛵ Help develop the next generation of RBYC sailors
⛵ Be part of one of Victoria’s leading sailing clubs
We’re looking for someone with Australian Sailing coaching experience, strong sailing knowledge and the organisational skills to deliver great training programs both on and off the water.

⛵️ Opening Day excitement is building at RBYC, with this year's theme being 'The Colours of Sailing' 🌊
We can’t wait to see all the colour - from the spinnakers, team shirts and nautical flags to boat and crew costumes + the personalities that make our sailing community what it is.

Opening Day is a long-standing RBYC tradition, beginning with the morning ceremony, followed by the Sail Past and a social get-together afterwards.

To reach your destination at Esplanade in Melbourne, you have a couple of options for public transport and driving.
**Public Transport:**
1. **Train:** Take a train from the city to Brighton Beach Station on the Sandringham Line. Once you arrive, it's about a 15-minute walk to your destination along the beach.
2. **Bus:** You can also take bus route 600 or 922 from various points in Melbourne that stop near Brighton. Check local schedules for exact stops and times.
**Driving/Parking:**
1. If you're driving, head towards Brighton via Nepean Highway (M11). Follow signs for Brighton and then turn onto Esplanade.
