After 25 incredible years at 320 Rathdowne Street, La Luna is preparing to serve our final steak. As we close this chapter on Saturday, 3rd of August, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our amazing patrons and community. You've been our backbone through every high and low, and we couldn't have done it without you!
Since day one, we've been dedicated to bringing you the best beef, finest wines, and top-notch service. It’s been an absolute joy to share countless memories with you all. As we hang up our aprons here, we're thrilled to embark on new culinary adventures.

To reach the Mediterranean restaurant on Rathdowne Street, visitors can either use public transport or drive and park in the vicinity. Those using public transport can take the train and alight at Melbourne Central Station, then transfer to tram route 1 towards South Melbourne Beach and get off at stop 113 on Lygon Street. Then they can walk northeast for about 200 meters along Rathdowne Street to arrive at their destination.
For those driving, they should head towards Carlton and park their car in any of the available street parking spaces along Rathdowne Street or nearby streets such as Elgin Street or Drummond Street. Please check for parking restrictions to avoid getting a ticket.
