The track I chose for this post is called “If I had a boat” and the first thing I thought was I’d want Manu on it! Manu has been with us for coming up to 3 years and he has been transformative to what we do. I don’t think I’ve worked with anyone who has his level of care and diligence and who so consistently keeps turning up to do the work and solve the problems in front of us. (Excluding my wife Talitha!) like I keep saying we are a small team and we compete against much larger companies, with more resources but I doubt there are any that can beat us on heart!

So if you’re liking the direction of our coffee program and what we are putting in your cup then it’s largely to do with Manu our Head of Coffee and Operations. Thank you Manu.

The other pick is our dear Probat roaster resting for the weekend before doing it all over again on Monday.

I love this version of Fade Into You. I was listening to it just now and looking at this picture of our coffee bags thinking how much I enjoy just looking at them. They’re so satisfying. Anyway, it’s Father’s Day this weekend and we’ve got plenty of coffee on the shelves, all of it is great but if I’m being honest right now I can’t go past Fallen Angels. It’s so good black or white and this version is about to finish up. That’s what I’ll be starting my day with on Sunday.
