Every scoop has a story behind it 🤎
Long before Gelato Papa existed, there was a Sicilian family tradition of making gelato.
After discovering that tradition firsthand and later studying under one of Italy's great gelato masters, Lilly brought those skills back to Melbourne with one goal: to create authentic gelato made from scratch using traditional techniques and quality ingredients.
From opening our first store in Preston in 2017 to taking on the challenge of opening Fairfield during the height of Covid in 2020, it's been an incredible journey.
What started in Sicily has become something we're proud to share with Melbourne every single day.
