SMALL BUSINESSES ARE FEELING IT TOO

You may see small businesses raising their prices over the coming month. We know that’s frustrating when groceries, petrol, power, rent and mortgages already cost so much.

Small businesses are caught in the same loop. Our supplies, bills and wages keep rising too. And as card surcharges are removed, the processing fees don’t disappear. We have to absorb those costs into our prices.

Raising our prices is how we keep the doors open, pay our staff properly and earn a living ourselves.

The person serving you or standing behind the counter feels the cost of living too. We don’t control it, but we’re often where the frustration lands.

HELP KEEP SMALL BUSINESSES IN OUR COMMUNITIES

We know household budgets have limits. Supporting small businesses doesn’t mean spending money you don’t have.

But please be thoughtful before turning frustration about prices into a one-star review. In a small business, that lands directly with the people who serve you and put their heart into their work.

If something isn’t right, please give us a chance to help.

And when you’ve had a good experience, tell a friend, leave a kind review, share a post or return when you can. Those little things make a real difference.

There is something worth protecting in a community where people know each other, care about their work and have time for a conversation.
