🥂🍾 We were thrilled to again win Gold Victorian & National medals for our Chocolate and Hazelnut gelato, and for our new entrant Buttermilk Raspberry Crumble, at this year’s Dairy Industry Association of Australia awards! Silver medals were awarded in both the Victorian & National categories for our new entrant Strawberry Shortcake, and Vanilla. 🎉

In other news, our move to our new home is going well (*reminder* it’s right next to the Pennydale neighbourhood of Cheltenham near Sandringham). We are on track to open our doors for scoops in spring, and it’s business as usual for gelato cart events and wholesale. 💙🍦🍨

We’re heading into our last weekend in Bay Street 🥺! After 6 years we’re moving right near the Pennydale neighbourhood of Cheltenham next to Sandringham for our new chapter, re-opening in spring. And as you can see, we took a little trip down memory lane, from opening our doors in 2020, through a lock down or two, or more (it’s a blur!), our first birthday, all the fun dogs who come to visit, all the kids, big and small, and all the grown ups as well – than you for sharing your Little Sky stories 😊 and we hope you enjoy this as much as we enjoyed putting it together. 💙

Finally, a MASSIVE thank you to all our team who have been with us over our Bay Street journey – Emma, our very first Little Sky employee who still scoops for us every now and again in between being a lawyer now she’s finished studying, Olivia, Bridie, Emily, Ben, Jess, Maddie, Adam, Beth, Dulce, Elena, Augustina, Brianna, Carol-Ann, Millie, Joe, Lachlan, Maddy, Tanya, Martine, Jenny, Meg, Sophie, Zoe, Liz (extra thanks for putting up with Max in the kitchen), Fabrizio, Izzy, Jess (second Jess!), Maya, Melody, Nina, Liv and Sammy. Many of our current team will be making the move with us – thank you for sticking with us, we really appreciate it.

Our opening hours this weekend are Saturday, 1-9pm and Sunday, 1-5pm, and we’re open to 9pm tonight. We’d love to see you in Bay Street one more time!

Today was the last day of our pop up! 😀You’ll of course still be able to get all their fab bread and pastries from their Highett and Hampton shops. And today you’ll still be able to get our lightly spiced Hot Cross Bun soft serve with, yep you guessed it, toasted crumbs of The Flour House’s scrumptious hot cross buns sprinkled on top. We’re scooping all your favourites, and Hot Cross Bun soft serve 😀, from 1-5pm this sunny Easter Sunday. ☀️🍦

We’ll miss so many things about our Bay Street shop including our awesome wall art created by the very talented Sarah Darby during the first covid lock down. We’ve taken about a gazillion photos of it and hoping to bring it with us in some form to our new home. A huge thank you Sarah for giving us and so many of our customers a smile every time they see your work! Not only does Sarah create fabulous wall art during pandemics she specialises in live illustrations for weddings, awards nights and brand activations to name a few, and even draws custom portraits. Head over to to check out her amazing work. 🙌💙

Big news: Little Sky is on the move! A lot has happened since opening in 2020 — more wholesale customers, more events, and our Bay Street shopfront — so we’ve outgrown our first home.

Our next chapter is just around the corner, in the Pennydale neighbourhood of Cheltenham, only a short drive away.

Our last day on Bay Street is Sunday 12 April, and we’ll be reopening in spring 🌸 — bigger, better, and ready to scoop all your favourites.

Thank you for every visit, every cone, and all your support 💙. We can’t wait to welcome you to our new home! 😀🍦
