MoVida back in Bali after far too long (large paella pans in hand). Great to be sharing a kitchen once again with former AQUI Head Chef and long-time friend Andrés Becerra, who hosted Frank and Chef Kane at as part of the Ubud Food Festival. Santanera has become one of Bali’s standout dining rooms in Canggu, with Andrés drawing on his Colombian roots, Mediterranean cooking and the island’s incredible produce. Safe to say his eye for detail is sharper than ever. ¡Hasta la próxima, Andrés! (quietly hoping we’ll get him back for Festival 2027 🤫)

It was a proper afternoon of whisky, sherry and good food at MoVida AQUI for Hellyers’ Iberian lunch last weekend.. One of those long, generous afternoons with good people, all juggling multiple glasses of whisky and sherry. The highlight was certainly the Hellyers Road The Iberian 10 Year Old (info via link in bio). Easy to see why Fiona was so excited to share it. Layered, with notes of stewed fruit, citrus and spice, it’s one to warm the cockles this winter. A big thank you to the team for joining us, and to everyone who pulled up a seat and made it what it was. Gracias mil.
