What a week it has been. Last week, Ken and I travelled to Sydney to attend the Foodpreneurs Festival, where Maple Leaf Meats was honoured to be selected as one of just five brands invited to pitch to investors. It was an incredible opportunity to share our story, our products, and our vision for the future with industry leaders and potential investors. To be recognised amongst such a talented group of businesses was both humbling and inspiring.
The excitement didn’t stop there.
Following the festival, we attended the Best Burger Awards, where Angela was proud to be named a Top 10 Finalist. To stand alongside some of Australia’s best burger creators was a true privilege and a moment we won’t forget.
These experiences remind us why we do what we do. Building a brand is never a straight path, but moments like these make all the hard work worthwhile. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our customers, friends, family, and community who continue to back us on this journey.
Here’s to dreaming big, taking chances, and embracing every opportunity that comes our way.

What an unforgettable experience.
Standing on stage at the Foodpreneurs Festival and sharing the Maple Leaf Meats story was both surreal and deeply rewarding. To be recognised amongst so many emerging food brands and selected as 1 of only 5 businesses to pitch to investors was an extraordinary opportunity — and a proud milestone for us both.
This journey started with passion, hard work, long hours, and a belief that bold, restaurant-quality flavour belongs in every home. To now be presenting our vision in front of investors, industry experts, and fellow founders is something we will never take for granted.
The feedback, encouragement, and support we received throughout the day meant the world to us. We walked away inspired, motivated, and even more excited about what’s ahead for Maple Leaf Meats.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported us, cheered us on, stopped for a chat, sent messages, and believed in our journey. We are incredibly grateful to be building something people genuinely connect with.
