To get to Margaret Street in Melbourne, there are several options for public transport and driving/parking.
Public Transport:
1. Tram: Take tram number 86 towards Bundoora RMIT from the city center. Get off at the stop on Smith Street/Johnston Street. From there, walk south along Smith Street until you reach Margaret Street.
2. Train and Bus: Take a train to Parliament Station and then transfer to bus number 200 towards Bulleen. Get off at the stop on Johnston Street/Smith Street. From there, walk south along Smith Street until you reach Margaret Street.
Driving/Parking:
1. From the city center, head east on Victoria Parade and continue onto Lonsdale Street.
2. Turn right onto Exhibition Street and continue straight.
3. Turn left onto Victoria Parade.
4. Continue straight onto Hoddle Street.
5. Turn right onto Johnston Street.
6. After a few blocks, turn left onto Smith Street.
7. Finally, turn right onto Margaret Street.
Parking options:
- There is limited street parking available on Margaret Street and surrounding streets, but it can be difficult to find a spot during peak times.
- Alternatively, there are several paid parking lots nearby, such as the one on Wellington Parade South or the one on Johnston Street.
