If you are taking public transportation, you can take the tram to the Central Pier stop or the train to Southern Cross station and walk for about 10 minutes. If you are driving, there is a parking lot nearby on Bourke Street or street parking available, but be sure to check signs for any restrictions.

Housed in the heritage Goods Shed North, the venue has been beautifully designed by Oldfield Knott to retain some of the original elements of the shed, including the big black cast iron heritage columns and painted number 28 on the old brick wall. The lofty space within the venue and heritage exterior add to its charm.
The restaurant bar's name itself pays homage to its historical roots, being named after Goods Platform 28. The logo featuring a steam train on top with a rustic brick color adds to its vintage appeal.
