Over the past 20 years, we’ve watched generations come through our doors. Having some of our longest-standing diners join us to celebrate this milestone made the evening even more special.

The bread was warm and the steak was cooked perfectly - tender and full of flavour. The pasta was rich yet balanced with may favorite pork ragu, and the salad added a fresh touch.

Service was attentive and professional, with a smooth pace throughout the meal.

Twenty years ago, we opened our doors on Flinders Lane with a simple belief: Great food is nothing without the people who share it.

Two decades later, that belief hasn’t changed. What has changed is the thousands of tables turned, the celebrations witnessed, the regulars who became family, and the team who showed up, day after day. It is what has made Cecconi’s Flinders Lane what it is.

To every guest who has sat with us, laughed with us, and trusted us with your most meaningful moments: this anniversary belongs to you.

And to our team: the ones who’ve been there from day one, through to the one’s who became family over the months and years; you didn’t just take a job, you joined something.

This place runs on your hands, your heart, and the kind of camaraderie that can’t be taught. You are not just ‘colleagues’. You are our family and the soul of this establishment.

Alessandro is proud of each of his creations, and so are we. He is however most proud of this one: His vanilla rum baba filled with a delicate tropical custard, dollops of a sweet mango caramel, finished with a fresh coconut granita.
