Meet our head chef, Ben Chapman.

Ben began his culinary journey in 2016, honing his craft across bespoke country estate restaurants in his native United Kingdom. This experience instilled a profound appreciation for the nuance of seasonal cooking, working in close collaboration with local farmers and producers.

Ben has been an integral part of the Frédéric family for the past three years; continually learning, refining and progressing. This talent and dedication culminated in his recent (and well deserved) promotion to Head Chef.

We're excited for Ben to bring his English influence and contemporary lens to classic French and European cuisine. His dishes will honour tradition while incorporating his own unique style and perspective.

To get to the restaurant located on Cremorne Street in Melbourne, you can take the Swan Street Tram (Route 70) and get off at the Richmond Plaza/North Richmond train station stop. From there, walk along Cremorne Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the restaurant.

Alternatively, if driving, travel along Punt Road towards Richmond and turn left onto Cremorne Street. There is limited street parking available, but there are also paid parking options nearby such as Secure Parking or Ace Parking.
