Dinner en Rouge returns for its eighth year.
Hosted across two evenings at Flower Drum and Levantine Hill Estate Pavilion, this year’s dinners celebrate our flagship Family Paddock red wines.
Guests will experience the 2021 Colleen’s Paddock Pinot Noir alongside two remarkable pre-release vintages, 2019 Melissa’s Paddock Syrah and 2019 Samantha’s Paddock Mélange Traditionnel.
Hosted by Chief Winemaker Paul Bridgeman and Winemaker and Production Manager and Winemaker Peter Shone, each evening is a rare opportunity to explore the depth, precision and the quiet reward of time of our single-vineyard winemaking.

In honour of International Chardonnay Day, we turn our attention to one of Levantine Hill’s flagship expressions of the varietal.
Born from three distinct Chardonnay clones, Katherine’s Paddock Chardonnay is a study in precision, patience and place.
These grapes are hand-picked across multiple passes and harvested only when each block reaches its ideal point of ripeness.
In the winery, meticulous hand-sorting, whole-bunch pressing, 100% barrel fermentation and maturation in premium French oak allow texture, structure and restrained richness to unfold with quiet confidence.

Our 2021 Katherine’s Paddock Chardonnay has been awarded 96 points by Halliday Wine Companion. Recognised by Katrina Butler for its impeccable balance, texture and craftsmanship, we are honoured to receive this accolade.
Katrina praised the wine’s “impeccable blending” and “utterly irrepressible” aromas, describing its weight, texture and balance as “irresistible”.
Defined by winemakers Paul Bridgeman and Peter Shone as the finest Chardonnay vintage of the past decade, our 2021 Katherine’s Paddock is a beautiful expression of Yarra Valley Chardonnay.

1. From Melbourne, take the Eastern Freeway (M3) heading northeast.
2. Merge onto the Maroondah Highway (B300) towards Lilydale.
3. Continue on Maroondah Highway for approximately 35 km.
4. Look for signs directing you to Coldstream; the destination will be located along this highway.
5. There is parking available on-site.
**By Public Transport:**
1. Take a train from Flinders Street Station to Lilydale Station on the Lilydale Line.
2. Upon arrival at Lilydale Station, transfer to Bus Route 685 towards Healesville.
3. Alight at the stop closest to your destination on Maroondah Highway in Coldstream.
4. Depending on your exact location, it may require a short walk from the bus stop.
