We have a position open for a Commis chef to join our kitchen full-time.
If you’d like to apply, please email your cv to [email protected] 🍿

While we’re here, we thought we’d use the opportunity to give some insight to our name. The word is French so the ‘s’ at the end falls silent.

Commis is a title given to those at the beginnings of their learnings, the first rung in the kitchen ladder. The title implies that we are all students on a continuous quest of learning; from one another, our guests, and the world outside the venue doors. Its an approach to hospitality that attempts to neutralise the sternness of knowing with the playful humility of curiosity. It’s why you’re served bread in paper lunch bags and butter on a blue title 🤎

Happy birthday to the most fabulous bar w***h in town 🍸

Commis is blessed to host your skills of passionate precision, award worthy puns, fantastic DJ selections, and tangential history lessons.

Almost every single night the rest of us are told by guests that you make the best [insert classic cocktail name here] that they’ve ever had. You truely are a beverage wizard and rarely do you mix a drink without a show 🤍

Tom will be off the next two nights but pop in on Friday or Saturday to come kiss this head happy birthday 🎈
