Massive thanks to everyone who came and saw us at Obsidian Dark Beer Festival in Ballarat on Saturday 🔥🔥🔥 such a good festival!
It was great to pour a couple of special cellar releases for the occasion, our Disgorged Barrel Aged Imperial Stout (2023) and Skeleton Crew Oyster Stout (2022). These vintage beers don’t come around often, and it was cool seeing so many people enjoying them.

✨🌑 OBSIDIAN DARK BEER FESTIVAL 🌑✨ After having the best time as punters last year, we’re stoked to be part of in Ballarat this June!
We’re pouring a couple of special kegs we’ve cellared for years, waiting for just the right occasion.
🍺 Disgorged Barrel Aged Imperial Stout (2023) – 10.5% Aged in ex-Starward tawny port barrels, this vintage imperial stout is layered with notes of toasted oak, chocolate, coffee, raisins, brown sugar and caramel. Rich, decadent and beautifully matured.
🦪 Skeleton Crew Oyster Stout (2022)
Brewed with oysters, ocean water and salt, alongside hearty English malts and Fuggle hops, delivering flavours of dark chocolate, coffee, toast and a distinctive savoury, briny character.
Celebrating all things dark beer with 15 independent Victorian breweries for a celebration of all things dark beer. A pour of all 30+ beers is included in your ticket.

A German-style pilsner brewed with patience, precision and proper lagering time. Crisp, clean and beautifully refined, this beer spent 120 days lagering to develop exceptional clarity, delicate malt character, subtle floral hop notes and a refreshing, snappy finish.
