Don’t Buy a Lib Tech Orca Until You Know This 👀

One of the biggest mistakes people make when buying a Lib Tech Orca is choosing their regular snowboard size.

The Orca is a volume-shifted design, meaning it’s wider, carries more surface area and is designed to be ridden shorter than a traditional snowboard. In many cases, riders size down 3–6cm from their usual board.

For example, if you normally ride a 159, there’s a good chance you’ll be looking at a 156 or even a 153 Orca instead.

Why? You still get the float, stability and performance the Orca is famous for, but in a board that’s quicker edge-to-edge and easier to manoeuvre.

It’s one of our favourite boards to get people on. Whether you’re chasing powder in Japan, carving groomers or looking for a versatile directional board that can do a bit of everything, there’s a reason the Orca has become one of the most popular snowboards on the market.
