Minamishima x Vue de monde
We’re thrilled to announce a special collaboration between two of Melbourne’s three hatted restaurants, Vue de Monde and Minamishima.
Created by the teams from both kitchens, the menu will showcase favorite ingredients, techniques and philosophies from each restaurant, celebrating a shared love for both Japanese and Australian cooking.
One night only — Tuesday 25 August at Vue de monde
Bookings open Wednesday 5 August at 10am via our website.
Due to the nature of this collaboration, dietary requirements cannot be accommodated.

If you don’t know him already: meet Raj, our restaurant manager.
Born in Perth, raised in Hobart. A youth spent with a love of theatre, philosophy and psychology, which, as it turns out, is decent training for a dining room.
He worked in bars and pubs first, then moved to Melbourne and started in restaurants. He’s been with us since 2018, quickly moving up the ranks to his current role.
Lately he’s gone deep on the fine teas of the world, Jura wines and Australian cheese making. But really he just lives and breathes hospitality.
Current Favorite drinks: a Gibson Martini, or a Mezcal Negroni. Still a pub loyalist at heart.

Amazing night at the annual fundraiser dinner with an incredible organisation providing hundreds of thousands of meals to Australians all across the country to those most in need. The evening raised over $230k which will help produce many thousands of melas, thanks to everyone who came along, donated, and purchased tickets. Most of all, a huge thank you to our incredible team for being part of it! ❤️
