He may bear the name of jazz royalty, but saxophonist Ravi Coltrane blows an original and distinctly modern strain of jazz.

This week at Lowie Live!!

Our regular Irish Session kicks off the week on Tuesday. Come in for a Guinness and listen to our talented local musicians play some wonderful Irish tunes.

On Friday evening we welcome Juicebox. Juicebox formed in 2012 on the soulful streets of Melbourne, on a corner where jazz meets funk. Driven by the dynamic Hammond B-3 organ, and an airtight rhythm section, Juicebox deliver an electrifying show that navigates the classic soul groove catalogue with modern chic.
Joining the instrumental section for the second set is the energetic and soulful vocalist Bobby Flynn! 9pm $15

Saturday night is a fundraiser for the Lomond Hotel Barracudas FC team.

Finally on Sunday we present the second gig of the 8Foot Felix residency. In the formative years of 8Foot Felix the Lomond Hotel was the scene of many a wild and raucous gig. The Felix and the Lomond are rekindling their rambunctious relationship with a Sunday afternoon residency…
8Foot Felix are multi-genre magic-mongers! Their irresistible rhythms, soaring flights of vocal and instrumental passion, and trance-like immersive theatricality draw their audience into a jumping joy field.
The 8FF sound has been seasoned over a colourful 14 years, and yet every gig erupts fresh - as an epic new journey that frays the fabric of time and space! 5pm $20
